“Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh”
Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
Dashing through the snow
In a one horse open sleigh
Over the fields we go
Laughing all the way
Bells on a bobtail ring
Making spirits bright
What fun it is to ride and sing
In a sleighing song tonight
Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride Jingle Bells
In a one horse open sleigh.
Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride Jingle Bells
In a one horse open sleigh.
Now the ground is white
And the night is young
Take the sleigh tonight
And join us in this song.
Just get a bob tailed bay
Get ready for a run
Then hitch him to a sleigh
And now we’ll have some fun
Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride Jingle Bells
In a one horse open sleigh
Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride Jingle Bells
In a one horse open sleigh.”
Note: In the play there is a reindeer instead of a horse.

Learn
Have conversations about Age
“How old are you?” “What is your age?” “I’m eight”, “I’m seven years old”, etc.
Practice dialogue between the Thai boy and girl:
“I bet you don’t know all the Asean Countries do you? There are ten of them.”
“Let me try. They are Thailand. . . .”
“That’s easy.”
(SHE COUNTING ON FINGERS) . . . “and Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines, Brunei, Singapore and Indonesia.”
Pretend to be Chi coming down by parachute. Try miming coming down, bumping into each other, landing on the ground. Or dolphins swimming up river pulling a boat. Or anything else that occurs to you.
The picture below is from an English through drama workshop at Parawun Sueksa School in North East Thailand may give some ideas: The children acted in “Presents from Heaven” and “The Jungle Book” (Secondary Course 4); and the teachers acted in “Romeo and Juliet” (Secondary Course 8). The trolley on the left of the picture represented a boat on one side and a bullock cart on the other.
Help with Flashcards
Encourage the students to paint flashcards. If you like we can upload the best to this website; and also if you like we shall credit your name, child’s name and country.
Help with Costumes
Ask your children’s families and friends which costumes it would be helpful to design and make. You do not have to have costumes exactly as in the pictures. Let you and your children and families and friends use their imaginations and creativity:
1. Mr. Santa’s costume.
2. Mrs. Santa’s costume.
3. A reindeer’s horns or head
4. 3 Dolphins
5. A boy or a girl’s costume for each of the Asean countries.
Research this online and look at the pictures below.
Here are some adult national costumes to inspire you, but research and create your own:
